Erin and Kristin and I meet for brunch at a Bloody Mary bar in north Portland on a Sunday morning. It is a fine celebratory place to discuss weddingy things.

These two are effortless together. They tell their stories tag team punctuated with great glowing grins. Hours pass like minutes. I can see Erin and Kristin rocking on their porch swing in 50 years as in love as they are in these weeks before their wedding.

I looked forward to their Timberline Lodge engagement session for weeks. The day blesses us with clear skies, a blazing pink sunset and a low full moon. Crunching around this great hotel filled with history in such good company is a joy. Enjoy the first of two posts of their Timberline engagement session.
