Columbia Gorge Chilly Engagement Session with Goats
Stacey and Josh met me in the blistering wind at the very edge of the Columbia Gorge overlooking the mighty Columbia river. (Sorry I like typing the Mighty Columbia). I am always on the hunt for a beautiful spot off the beaten path without a fence or a no trespassing sign. It is a relief when clients show up in grippy non precarious footwear! Engagement photography is a process. It is the first time for many people to be photographed by a professional photographer. It is important that you feel like yourselves when you are photographed and I have noticed that a little adventure and maybe some weather helps to take the edge off and make our shoot less of a session and more of an experience. Bobbing their inquisitive little heads two bold little goats popped up from midair to gaze at us as we gathered our belongings. A wonderful and wild encounter.
