Alex + Lisa // Oregon Coast Photographer // Cape Kiwanda Portrait Session

Having the chance to photograph these two is a great joy for me. Alex is one of my dearest friends, an incredible musician and songwriter as well as the cofounder or our nonprofit arts organization My Story, and Lisa is a brilliant tattoo artist with Icon tattoos. These guys just enjoy each other. Even heading to the beach before sunrise left them smiling. Being around them is easy and fun and their dogs Saro and Emmy Lou are such characters. I think they were convinced that we orchestrated this entire day just for them. Emmy Lou enjoyed the spotlight so much that I might need to do an Emmy Lou only shoot one of these days. The light by the ocean as the sun just begins to break the horizon is magical and the weather gave us just enough mist to bring a little mystery to our morning.
