A Private Moment on Deception Pass Bridge

Sometimes I am just driving along a road somewhere amazing completely lost in my thoughts and something or someone catches my eye and I absolutely have to pull over. It was 5;30 in the morning and I was crossing the breathtaking Deception Pass in Washington state and this couple was standing, wrapped up in each others arms on the bridge. I could not help myself. I made my way across the bridge towards them. They were so gracious. This was their first trip anywhere together. They were just passing through but had felt the same fierce call of this incredible vista. I am so grateful to the strangers that are so kind when approached at dawn by my camera.
